How to filter feeds for a specific application.

Post by JayJay on Sun Feb 07, 2010 10:41 pm

Hello,

I willl show you how to filter the feeds for a specific application. Because of the new layout you cannot filter the feeds like you could in the old layout you have to do it the old way.

  1. Pick your Application
  2. Scroll to the bottom it should say 'Built By: (Whatever Application you are using)' Click on that

  3. It should rediect you to the Application Facebook Page. In the adress box it should say
    Code:
    http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=(Random Numbers)
    Copy the numbers

  4. Go to the Homepage and/or type this into the Adress Box:
    Code:
    http://www.facebook.com/#!/?filter=app_

  5. Paste the numbers after everything.

  6. Hit Enter and Ta-Da. It will filter the feeds for your desired Application.

NOTE: This works for all applications that have 'Built By:____' on the bottom

Hope this helped if your still having problems feel free to post them here, Feedback is important and welcomed.

You're a genius. It works perfectly, good idea by getting the ID. You can do the same with Fanpages, go to a random Fanpage, click on its picture, and copy the ID. then you paste it with the adress Jj told us about.

[+] Rep, you deserve it!

Filtering feeds currently will redirect to the same old news feed. I don't not know why but I'll update you ASAP.

Note : The filter(s) do work but they get mixed with random posts just scroll down a little to find all or most of the posts related to that app Wink
